Sitting in the near empty room made me think of my parents' bedroom back at home. A couple of weeks ago my parents received a mysterious phone call from somewhere in Australia. My parents immediately started packing, and forty eight hours later, they were on a first class flight to Australia. They couldn't take me with them, so here I am at my aunt's house. Aunt Kaley lives alone because of the recent death of Uncle Mike. He died from a heart attack in his late forties. The doctors don't know how it happened so early, but it did. Aunt Kaley still hasn't gotten over his death. And I wouldn't expect her to either. She loved Uncle Mike more than life itself. Anyways, here I am in the navy blue guest room. All that's in here is a queen size bed, a gray dresser, and a small night side table. My small suitcase sits at the foot of the bed along with a worn stuffed frog. Mom and Dad bought it for me when I was younger. His yellow crown that Mom made for him is falling off, and one of his eyes is missing. His name is Flopsy, and I can't remember a moment without him.
I have so many introductions to books that I'm never gonna finish tucked away in a drawer. See, I love writing the beginning, but I never know what to do with the rest. Last night I was really bored, but it felt to early to go to bed. So I pulled out my steno pad and a pencil and started writing. Ta-da!

Ta-daa!!!
It's a Compostion Book Cover! My mom and I just finished making it tonight. Well, mostly my mom. I have a very short attention span...
The cover has pockets for pencils, buisness cards, a page marker, and a big pocket on the front for paper, or pretty much anything else. Since I don't use buisness cards yet, I can just use it for erasers. Oh! It also has a latch on the side to keep it shut.
Anyways. I guess it's time to tell everybody that I never actually finished that messenger bag that I was talking about. I didn't even start it. I was looking at the pattern for the bag, and it said that it would be good to use canvas. So while I was thinking it over, I decided that there would be a lot of heavy books to carry back and forth, so there was no way that my 100% cotton fabric would survive the first couple of months. So I used it on my Compostion Book Cover. I need to use up that 3 yards somehow!

Sneak Preview of Future Book (maybe)
I walked down the empty halls. I had an eerie feeling. Something about walking around alone, while the lights seem to get dimmer and dimmer, always gives me the creeps. It's like what you would see in a horror film.
"Allie!" I jumped a mile. I had thought the school was empty.
"Allie, wait up!" I didn't know who was calling me. So, I did the sensible thing. I ran. I sprinted. All the way to Mr. Wilkonsin's classroom. Mr. Wilkonsin's biology class had always made me feel at home. I understood what he was talking about. It wasn't like learning a foriegn language. (Which is WAY harder than what you might think.) I squatted in the far corner, and tried to remain quiet. Then, I replayed the voice over and over in my mind. It started to seem vaguely familiar.
"Allie? Where are you?" I didn't speak.
"Allie! It's me, Kim." Bits of my mind finally started to find their places. I knew that name.
"Remember me? From Miss Jonie's third grade? We were best friends."
I crept out of my hiding place. Kim was my best friend. She had moved away during the summer and had left me crying for weeks.
"Kim?" I stammered.
"Allie!" She cried. "Why did you run?"
"I...I didn't know it was you. What are you doing here?" I managed.
"Looking for you of course!" Kim said happily. "What are you doing here?"
"I forgot something in my locker. But I got it." I lied.
"Okay, then let's get out of here. This place is starting to give me the creeps."

Count Olaf tries to kidnap the 3 children so when the oldest child becomes of age; he will inherit that fortune. The Baudelaires try to escape from Count Olaf, but he always seems to find them. Join these 3 children as they battle Count Olaf for which seems like forever and ever.
